Data Analysis Task Force

The Data Analysis Task Force was formed beginning with the 2004-05 school year to bring a team of educators together to discuss and assist with the dissemination of the multitute of the District's data.  An action plan, consisting of five goals was established (see related files below) in order for the task force to function considering the magnitude of the tasks at hand. The District analyzes student performance data as it becomes available during the course of any school year and facilitates reporting and use of the results in a meaningful way through adjustments to instruction at the building level.  Although initially concerned with dissemination of student performance data to teachers, students and their parents, the Data Analysis Task Force has grown to encompass any and all data verification and related functions on behalf of the District.  With the advent of the New York State Education Department's Data Warehouse initiative and New York State Testing and Accountability Reporting Tool (nySTART), the Data Analysis Task Force functions have proved to be invaluable to the District.
