Science Task Force
The Science Task Force was established a number of years ago to examine, evaluate and re-write the science curriculum at the K-8 level so that it would encompass all four of the science areas. Examination of our science curriculum revealed that most of what was taught in the former curriculum dealt rather exclusively with the life sciences, to the neglect of earth science, physical science and chemistry. What resulted was our "Every Science Every Year" K-8 curriculum, designed to guarantee experience, on the part of our students, with all four areas of science throughout the school year.
