Each year I work in a "Model Classroom". This is when I go into one classroom and work collaboratively with the classroom teacher. I am responsible for the Balanced Literacy Framework which consists of: Readers Workshop, Writers Workshop, and Language/Word Study. The teacher and I work together to implement the brain-researched method of learning how to read, write, and work with words. It is my favorite part of the day! It is a time when I get to practice what I preach!

I will be starting the year in Mr. Hebert's 4th Grade! I am so excited to work with him and his students.

The other part of my day consists of coaching the other teachers in the IRIS building, 3rd Grade at Evans Mills, and now the Essentials teachers at the HS. As you can see, my days fly by!
