COPYRIGHT FOR EDUCATORS

Here's a good video to watch if you aren't sure what's ok in education and what's not, as far as copyright goes.
Copyright for Educators is a presentation given by Wesley Fryer in February at ITSC.  It's a bit long, but worth the time.

DID YOU KNOW (AKA SHIFT HAPPENS)

If you haven't seen these videos by Karl Fisch, you should, and you should also show them to your students. The 3.0 version has a much more educational emphasis, but version 4.0 will intrigue the techies in the room. Versions 1.0 and 2.0 are available on Teacher Tube if you are interested.

A VISION OF STUDENTS TODAY

A video along the same lines as Did You Know, it may have more of a college bent, but it's still food for thought.  Created by Michael Wesch and students at Kansas State University.

A Vision of Students Today

WHAT THE STUDENTS NEED NOW...

So how do we change our teaching to reflect the ideas in these videos?  Check out this video by Kevin Honeycutt for a musical message.

I Need My Teacher To Learn

Anti-RTTT, but definitely pro-education.
