A Message from Superintendent Decker: July 1st: A Day of New Beginnings!

In this video message, IRCSD Superintendent Troy Decker welcomes you to the official start of the 2021-22 school year. July 1st is not only the launch date of our new website system SchoolBlocks at ircsd.org, an essential component of our overall District communications platform, but it also marks the official start date of our many new staff members.

These new Warriors include additions to our support staff, incredibly talented new instructional staff, as well as new leaders or leaders in different positions. This includes our new Superintendent, Mr. Troy Decker, our new Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, Christina Chamberlain, new Evans Mills Primary School Principal, Nicholas Lee, and new Calcium Primary Assistant Principal, Justin West. Throughout the summer we will be introducing you to many of our new Warriors, and we hope you welcome them warmly to our community and to their new roles in the District.

The year ahead will undoubtedly be filled with many challenges, but today let us take the time to appreciate all of the potential that 2021-22 holds and welcome the new members of our Warrior family. We are IR!

Stay safe, stay healthy, and stay #WarriorStrong.
