    Need School Supplies? We've Got This!


    As "Back to School" time rapidly approaches, the Indian River Central School District is once again pleased to be able to provide each of our students with every academic classroom/school supply necessary for the 2025-26 school year. Students will still need a backpack large enough to carry any personal items and a lunch box if bringing meals from home. Parents and guardians may still wish to purchase personalized or extra school supplies, but the District will have academic supplies ready for every student, no lists required.

    We know that in times of economic uncertainty, every little bit helps. We hope you have an enjoyable, safe, and relaxing rest of the summer, and we look forward to seeing all of our students in September. And don't worry about buying school supplies—we've got this!

    Fort Drum School Support Services and EFMP will hold a K-12 Back to School Resource Fair on Thursday, August 7, 2025 from 10AM to 1PM at the Youth Center, 10788 Chapel Drive, Fort Drum, NY. Join us and get prepared for the 2025-2026 School Year! This event will feature School Registration Information, Various School Resources, CYS Program Information, and the CAPC Mobile Food Pantry. We hope to see you there!

    IRCSD Annual Reorganization/Regular Board of Education Meeting on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 6:30PM

    The Indian River Central School District Board of Education will have an Annual Reorganization/Regular Board of Education meeting on Thursday, July 10, 2025 in the Board of Education room in the Indian River Central School District Office Complex (32735B County Route 29, Philadelphia, NY 13673) beginning at 6:30PM. 

    Indian River Central School District Board of Education Meetings are public meetings where in-person attendance is welcome. This meeting will also be streamed live for virtual public viewing through the District’s Facebook page beginning at 6:30PM. Additionally, the meeting will be recorded and subsequently transcribed. For more information, including an archive of previous livestreams, a schedule of upcoming meetings, and BOE contact information, please visit the IRCSD Board of Education page at ircsd.org.    

    Anyone wishing to speak with the Board of Education may do so in accordance with Board Policy 1230: Public Participation at Board Meetings.

    Independence Day Extended Weekend, July 3-6, 2025


    As a reminder to the IRCSD Community, the District will be closed for an extended four-day Independence Day weekend from July 3-6, 2025. The 4th of July is an opportunity for us to celebrate the unity, freedom, and independence we experience as Americans.  We recognize the great challenges we have confronted, honor the many sacrifices, and commemorate the victories on our path toward creating a more perfect union.

    We wish you all the best on this Independence Day weekend and hope that you are able to celebrate safely and responsibly with friends and family.  Happy 4th of July, IRCSD!

    67th Indian River High School Commencement Ceremony Livestream


    For those who are unable to attend in person tonight, the 67th Indian River High School Commencement Ceremony will be streamed live from the Indian River Theatre of the Performing Arts at 7:00PM EST on June 27, 2025 on YouTube: IRHS Class of 2025 Graduation Livestream.
